Shielded Construction started with two things: experience and pride in a job well done. As a stepfather-and-son team, we spent years working side by side—learning the trades, mastering the details, and earning a reputation for being the crew people could count on.
In 2023, we decided it was time to take the next step and start something of our own—something built on the values we believe in: doing the work right, treating customers with respect, and showing up every day ready to give our best.
Shielded was born from a shared vision: a local company that homeowners can trust, from the first call to the final cleanup. We don’t believe in flash or shortcuts—just solid craftsmanship, honest timelines, and a crew that treats your home like it’s our own.

With over 20 years of roofing experience, Ranfery brings a calm, consistent presence to every job site. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the Louisville roofing industry and takes pride in doing things right the first time. When he’s not working, he enjoys camping, spending time with family, and getting outdoors whenever he can.
Ranfery Arreola-Vazquez
Miguel began roofing as a teenager and has been hooked ever since. After stepping away to finish school, he returned to the industry with a clear goal: to help build a company that puts people first. When he’s not running jobs or meeting clients, he’s gaming, working out, or out walking his dog.
